The CYA & Groundwork Kent Thames-side have just produced a new business plan to provide a combined off road motorcycle track and road craft centre on part of the vacant site of the Swanscombe Cement Works. Illegal motorcycling on local roads and wasteland has been the centre of motorcycle related thefts for many years within the area. The centre will include educational programmes once again without realising them. The ethos of theproject will be partnership orientated to ensure sustainability. Funding for this project is in the very early stages.
